Intentions is a community-based enrichment center in our 5th year in partnership with Brooklyn Center Community School District. Our mission is to help create spaces where youth thrive. Through intentional events, workshops and youth programs we aim to spark growth, connection and confidence in their community.By registering for Intentions After LEAP, participants can attend any of the following sessions: LIT! Mondays, 5-7pmThis program focuses on leadership development, SPARK exploration, civic engagement, service learning opportunities and peer education. Students will dive into what it takes to be a leader within their eco systems. Come hang out and learn the skills you need to build your leadership skills and community. SHE CollectiveTuesdays, 5-7pmSHE Collective is a traveling mixed arts program designed to empower girls and young women through storytelling, interactive workshops and creative performances. SHE Collective girls help create safe, educational and welcoming experiences where girls can talk openly about issues they face every day. If you love acting and self expression this program is for you. Blue Barn ActivitiesFridays, 3:45-5:30pm Fun Friday activities after school.

The LEAP Program offers students a wide variety of engaging clubs and activities, including academic support, arts, entrepreneurship, youth leadership, physical activity, STEM, and much more. Students have opportunities to explore new interests, build skills, and connect with their peers in a fun, supportive environment with skilled youth workers and licensed teachers. Nutritious snacks and meals are provided each day. Below are the program hours for LEAP. If you are registered for this course you can attend any of the morning or afternoon out of school time activities. Morning sessions 6:00am - 7:45am, 7:00am - 8:15amAfternoon sessions 3:30pm - 5:00pmAfternoon transportation is provided to those who qualify.
